Spicy Chicken Curry

Spicy Chicken Curry

A flavorful and aromatic curry with tender chicken pieces. This recipe is a classic, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 400ml coconut milk
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add curry powder and turmeric powder, and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
  5. Pour in coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add tomato and salt, and cook until the chicken is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Creamy Tomato Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 200g pasta

  • 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in crushed tomatoes and oregano, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  6. Combine the sauce with the cooked pasta.
